Glass Ionomer Luting Cement

• Glass ionomer luting cement is used for the cementation of orthodontic bands.
• It is also an effective luting agent for conventional crowns and bridges.
• Other uses may include base or lining under all restorative materials or following root canal treatment.
• It may also be used as a temporary filling material.

Features:

• In a naturally fluoride releasing cement that may reduce the incidence of decalcification and caries.
• Chemically bonds to enamel and dentin without the use of any etchants.

Formulation:

• Powder: fluoro-alumina-silica glass.
• Liquid: water solution of poly-acrylic acids.
